What is BLONDE HAIR LASER REMOVAL?

The usual methods of laser hair removal are not effective enough to identify and penetrate white, blonde, red or grey hairs. Luckily, Nirvana Beauty Laser clinics has a procedure using the latest techniques and technologies meaning those with light/blonde/grey hairs don’t need to miss out! A different procedure wasn’t therefore developed and clinically tested by ADeNA Manufacturers in France in 2004 before being patented (*) in 2005. This patent-protected procedure is exclusively reserved for users of ADeNA machines available at Nirvana Beauty Laser Clinic s.< Historically, laser hair removal has only been suited to people with light skin and dark hair. This is because lasers are most attracted to darker colours, making the lack of pigments in blonde a huge stumbling block.
However, Blonde Hair removal finally overcomes this hurdle. Purpose-designed to target light coloured pigments, the Long Pulse laser effectively destroys blonde hair follicles while also impairing regrowth.*

How does BLONDE HAIR REMOVAL work?

The laser’s heat source is attracted to pigment, like that found in darker hair. Blonde hair does not have enough pigment to attract the laser’s heat, making traditional laser hair removal for pale skin unreliable on blonde or even gray hair.
There are specially developed lasers that have proven effective in removing unwanted hair for fair skinned and blonde haired men and women. The Alexandrite Laser works at a higher intensity than traditional lasers, blasting you with the pigment you need to enjoy permanent hair reduction and removal.

Permanent – Because electrolysis destroys not only the follicle but also the root and the reproductive system, it is 100% permanent if performed correctly.

Frequency?

Some will require as many as 8-10 treatments. Follow up removal treatments will also factor into the price, as you will need to have the area touched up every six months.

BEFORE TREATMENT:

• Area to be washed with a mild soap and water and fully dried. Application of moisturisers, deodorants, etc can be applied after treatment – not prior to treatment.
• No sunbathing 21 days prior to treatment. Wear suncream on areas constantly exposed to the sun
• Hair removal – some hair is required for treatment. We recommend clients to shave 3 days before treatment.

AFTER TREATMENT DOS AND DONT’S:

Dos’:
a. Apply laser aid 3-10 times over the first 48 period a minimum of 4 times a day for the first 3 days. No other product is acceptable.
b. Apply spf daily (we recommend a sun block that contains titanium oxide or zinc oxide) – this applies to all clients weather or not you are out side or not
c. You must treat the skin with care at all times
d. You must come in the correct time frame recommended by the therapist for your treatment to be successful

Don’ts:
e. You must not exposure the area being treated to sun, self tanning lotions or tanning beds 4 weeks prior your treatment and during duration of your treatment to prevent pigment change or laser burns
f. You must not cause excessive heat before and after your treatment e.g hot shower, sauna, gym etc
g. You must not use harsh exfoliants or rubbing to treated area for minimum of 24 hours
h. You must not pick, scratch, rub or irritate any blisters/or grazing after having your treatment (if this was to happen you must contact the store immediately to make staff aware and you may need to see your local gp for anti biotic in
the case of blistering)
i. You must not wax, tweeze or use depilatories between treatments – only shaving is permitted
j. You must understand that if you arrive for your appointment with a tan, unshaved areas or any other contra to the treatment your treatment will be deferred, as these will increase chances of having adverse effects such as blistering,
grazing etc
k. You must not rub, scratch, irritate the treated area for a minimum of 3 days after your treatment – in the case you do its very possible to have slight grazing occur
