Anti-Wrinkle Cosmetic Aesthetics

What are Anti Wrinkle Cosmetic Aesthetics?

Expression lines can develop over time through repeated facial movements, including smiling, frowning and squinting. Their appearance varies between individuals and may be influenced by factors such as age, skin condition and facial anatomy.

A consultation with an appropriately qualified health practitioner is required to discuss your concerns, assess your suitability and explain the available options, expected outcomes, potential risks, side effects and associated costs. Treatment may not be suitable for everyone, and individual results vary.

This version avoids describing the prescription treatment, how it acts, named application areas, expected longevity and promotional outcome claims. AHPRA itself does not approve individual advertisements, so the clinic should still have the final page reviewed by its prescribing practitioner, indemnity insurer or healthcare advertising lawyer.

How do ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS work?

Anti-wrinkle injections block the chemical signal that the brain sends to the muscle telling the muscle to contract. This means that when the brain says ‘squint, it’s sunny’, the muscles are saying ‘I can’t hear you’. In effect the treatment relaxes and lifts the muscle, softening the look of lines and giving a tighter, smoother appearance.

It generally takes three to 10 days after the treatment for the maximum to develop fully and re-treatment should not occur within that period. The effect generally lasts three to four months, although with regular treatments it may be possible to reduce the dosage.
